Tim Lincecum is still in the running for the 2009 Cy Young Award despite having only 14 wins since he is leading the NL in ERA and strikeouts. Jason Marquis became the first major league pitcher to win 12 games on Sunday in a 6-1 defeat of the San Diego Padres. The Chicago Cubs' front office did not have a good offseason, but one of their worst deals was trading Marquis to the Colorado Rockies for Luis Vizcaino. While Marquis was winning yet another game yesterday, Vizcaino pitched only three-and-one-thirds innings for the Cubs before being designated for assignment in May.
